Startup Weekend Tri-Valley

Don't miss your chance to pitch your idea, build an MVP / prototype and learn about building kick-ass crowdfunding campaigns.   Practice the core elements of agile development and crowdfunding with support from speakers, judges and coaches representing Indiegogo, Robot Garden, Silicon Valley Robotics, Startup Den, the Art Institute and Singularity University.  

Prizes include i-Gate memberships for 6 months (worth $1,000s) including an awesome Amazon Web Services package (valued at ~$10,000) for the winning team, and a $1,000 service credit from our web/app development partner, Nyentek!

Ms Jadhav is an entrepreneur with a passion for game changing ideas that level the playing field and build value for stakeholders. Currently Venture Advisor at an Incubator to various start-ups. Host of StartupDen show on VatorTV.com revealing investor funding tips and entrepreneur success secrets. A Harvard MBA with an undergraduate from Wharton Bachelor of Science where she graduated Summa Cum Laude Ms Jadhav has been described as a Dreamer, Rules breaker, bootstrapper extraordinaire, idea generator, fundraising pitch coach. She can be spotted as a  judge at various startup events, as a keynote speaker, and host of StartupDen show.Her expertise lies in identifying fundable game changing ideas, prototyping, team building, fundraising, market launching award winning products, business model innovation and revenue generation.


David Koehn
Angel Investor, Sand Hill Angels

David invests in start-ups as part of Sand Hill Angels. David previously founded several start-ups including one focused on ecotourism and another focused on enterprise mobility. He has assisted many start-ups in their growth from investment, to assuming the CEO role and closing a series C, to being the lead investor in their priced rounds, to transforming their business models and market approaches.  
David brings over 15 years of industry experience to the field with a strong background in HCM, innovation, social, mobile, platform development, and learning. David led the launch of the Learn Cloud at Oracle as part of the Oracle HCM Cloud Suite.

Ann Rogan
Director, Global Development Singularity University

Ann Rogan currently heads up global strategy at Singularity University where she works with SU’s network of global ambassadors to spearhead new initiatives and grow global partnerships. Previously, she lived in India during which time she worked on a variety of energy and healthcare initiatives. She founded a supply chain company to do “last mile” distribution of renewable energy products. That failed. Before that, she launched the go-to-market strategy of a novel healthcare franchise network for Drishtee, an Acumen Fund investee in India. She has been a guest author with The Institute for Environmental Entrepreneurship, Renewable Watch, and NextBillion. Ann is a graduate of McGill University; she's held prior roles with the American India Foundation, the US State Department, and served on a technical advisory committee for sustainability to the UNDP. Ann is a founder and advisor of a 3D printing startup based in Mountain View that is aiming to change the future of distributed manufacturing. She currently serves as a Venture Advisor of i-GATE, and is on the Board of the Frontier Innovations Foundation. She tweets occasionally @amrogan.


Andra Keay
Founder at Silicon Valley Robotics, Robohub, Robot Garden & Robot Launchpad

Back me! https://angel.co/l/BC9i8 Andra Keay is the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Robotics, an industry group supporting the innovation and commercialization of robotics technologies. Andra is also founder of Robot Launchpad for startups, and cofounder of Robot Garden, a new robotics hackerspace. Andra is a core contributor to Robohub, the global site for news and views on robotics. She obtained her MA in Human-Robot Culture at the University of Sydney, Australia in 2011, building on a background as a robot geek, STEM educator and film-maker. Andra graduated as an ABC film, television and radio technician in 1986 and obtained a BA in Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Australia, in 1998.

David Ordal

My passion – and my area of expertise – is building technology companies. I'm currently CEO of ExaVault, a business file sharing startup. Previously, I've worked as VP of Engineering at Huddler.com and as CEO/CTO at CyberSense. I am well versed in both the technical and managerial aspects of fast-paced, agile software development and the lean startup methodology.
