Your idea in 54 hours
Techstars Startup Weekend is the place to look for a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, all in one weekend.
What do you need to bring?
Lots of energy! You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. You can come with friends, but you’ll get the full experience if you participate in separate teams. Remember, it’s all about the team.
The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, environmental, or other issues. Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely! Important: You cannot have worked previously on your idea.
Techstars Startup Weekend is a full weekend long experience. Your ticket includes:
- 7 full (and delicious) meals over the course of the weekend
- Benefits and discounts from our global partners
- One-on-one time with amazing mentors
- A new network of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world.
- All the internet and coffee you can consume.
Watch the video below to see what you can expect, and if you’re feeling inspired click on the “Buy Ticket” button now!

After his graduation from the academy of creative design in Austria and several years in advertising agencies, he decided to start his own design studio named myflecki.com. He is specialized in Branding & Identity Design, UX, and UI Design.
In 2012, he co-founded the network theWG.net to provide international clients with unique Apps, Websites, Brands and much more. Sebastian has now been a professional for over 10 years and loves to support entrepreneurs and companies to define their own success story.
Let's tell your story with pixels.
James started his first business out of pure necessity in 2009 when he had to make extra money. In nearly 10 years, James has started, sold and most recently grown his small car sales business into a large scale buying, selling and trading company.
With a drive to survive, he has had real life experience. From failing big to winning big, James has done it. There is no fear with him. He’s not one to hear the words “NO” or “CAN’T”.
After establishing his web-based business, Brian noticed that the 3D world of technology had become much faster, produced better results, and was finally cost-effective. So, along with his business partner Brian Smith, he formed 3D Architectural Solutions (3DAS)—a 3D architectural visualization facility specializing in the production of architectural renderings and animations. A portfolio of his work can be seen at www.3das.com.
Brian later joined efforts with his business partner Jeff Mottle to develop CGschool – the only company in the world that provides Autodesk Authorized books and training dedicated to architectural visualization while simultaneously working full-time in visualization production. More information can be found at www.thecgschool.com.
