Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Event Judges


Jesse Daniels

Jesse Daniels is the Directors of Engineering at Sportsdigita LLC. In Minneapolis, MN. He has written software both for local startups and Fortune 500 companies. Several clients include Pepsi, Samsung, Harpo, Martha Stewart, Huffington Post, and CBS News. As a software developer, Jesse has written software for the Apple App Store, the Windows Store, Windows desktop, and the web.


Mark Johnson

Johnson, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and business administration from Minnesota State Mankato, has held several positions in private industry, including at Brown Printing Company and General Mills. He was also the president and chief administrative officer of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates from 2007 to 2010. Most recently, he was the president of the Impact Group Technology Solutions, a global company specializing in strategic planning and program/project management. Currently, he serves as the vice president of technology and CIO at Minnesota State University, Mankato - a position he also held from 2000-2006, and on an interim basis from Aug 2010-July 2011. In this role, he is responsible for technology vision, strategic leadership and management of Minnesota State Mankato’s information technology service units.


Connie Stokman

Connie Stokman has worked the last 21 years at All American Foods, Inc.  A local Mankato manufacturer of dry industrial food ingredients.  Over 10 years of her tenure there has been in the capacity of Plant operations as the Director and most recently in Sales and Marketing as the Sales Director of Manufacturing Services.  She is also the company’s Director of Innovation; where she helps to facilitate a corporate culture that esteems and encourages innovation at every level.
