Learn about blockchain while conceiving your own ideas about it!

The Startup Weekend NYC team is proud to present an educational workshop on understanding and conceiving ideas using a blockchain framework, sponsored by IBM.

This 6 hour workshop is designed for non-technical (and technical) people to come together, learn about blockchain and apply design thinking for conceiving potential business ideas grounded in blockchain technology.

Blockchain is a new and growing area of technology that many are still learning about.  Come learn with a group of people what blockchain is, explore a few case studies, and then use your new understanding of blockchain to conceive business ideas under the guidance and facilitation of IBM Design Studio facilitators.  You will then have the opportunity to learn and practice how to build a short pitch and we'll close out the workshop with a final pitch of your newly conceived and designed idea.

This idea will be ready for you to eventually pitch at Startup Weekend Blockchain Edition to be held in NYC, October 20-22nd at Galvanize!
