Arrive at the venue and get checked in

Eat food, share ideas, practice pitches, mingle, get to know fellow participants

What is Startup Weekend and why are we here?

Pitches & Team Formation
Pitch-Fire Session for those with ideas; voting to select top ideas for the weekend; and team formation.


10:15 pm
Wrap-Up
You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here! Get a good night's sleep for Saturday!

Saturday April 9th


8:30 am
Breakfast
Arrive, fuel up, and get ready to kick-off Saturday! Room assignments will be given.


9:00 am
Saturday Kick-Off
Morning pep-talk! Go over weekend-flow, event resources, best practices, and mentor madness schedule. All participants must attend.


10:00 am
Ready, Set, GO! Identify the Problem!
Teams get to their work stations and start working on identifying, stating, and validating their problem statement.


11:00 am
Mentor Madness Begins!
Mentors help teams one-on-one in various areas of expertise, runs from 11am-8pm (by appointment).


12:30 pm
Lunch & Learn in Mediascapes
Grab your lunch and attend a session or keep working!


1:30 pm
Mentor Madness Resumes
Mentoring sessions continue until 8pm (by appointment).


3:00 pm
Hit the Streets & Validate!
A great time to leave the building and validate with humans!


4:00 pm
Recharge w/ Red Bull!
Red Bull will be in the house for a few hours providing participants with a fuel!


6:30 pm
Working Dinner
Grab some food, continue working, ask other participants for help or offer help.


10:30 pm

Pitch Creation
This is a great time to begin drafting your final pitch.

Final Rounds of Mentoring
Business model mentors on hand to help you finalize your model.


12:30 pm
Working Lunch
Grab food, keep working, and make it happen!


1:30 pm
Pitch Practice Sessions
Pitch rehearsal sessions with experienced mentors to help you refine and improve your pitch. From 130-330pm by appointment.


5:00 pm
Final Pitches!
Let the games begin! Short final round kick-off and then it's a pitch storm session! This is why you came here!


7:30 pm
Dinner Time
Relax, mingle, and enjoy some dinner while the judges deliberate. You've earned it!


8:30 pm
Winners Announced!
Winners announced and awesome feelings of accomplishment!


9:00 pm
Group Pics, Hugs, and Good-byes
This is the hard part. No one wants to leave but all good things must come to an end. But the startup community will continue to be active!
