What's the twist?  

Music Tech edition means we will be focusing the ideas we select on solving problems in the music industry.  Over the last 10 years we have seen music tech explode, however, there are many more problems to solve and solutions that need improving.

Whether you are interested in the music industry or not, the ultimate objective of the event is to empower you with a powerful process for taking any idea, music-related or not, from concept to creation!

Eamonn Carey is the Managing Director at Techstars Connection, in partnership with AB InBev. In the past, Eamonn started, succeeded and failed with several startups in Europe and the Middle East - including Farmvillain - an app which some described as the 'South Park of Facebook'. Eamonn has mentored at Techstars’ programs in London, Berlin and Tel Aviv, as well as other accelerators as far away as Tallinn, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi and Tokyo.

An incredible career spanning 30 years, from leading music's largest independent research, marketing and promotion company, to EVP of Sony Music where he was responsible for market strategy development for all artist under the Sony Umbrella.  Later serving as EVP of Columbia Records as they rose to become the #1 chart share label in the country, to his current role as Founder of B Music Group, partnering with Atlantic Records. Throughout, Tyler has played a major role in the development and/or continued success of artists like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, The Fray, Britney Spears, Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, and many others. His most recent signing, Alexander Cardinale (Atlantic Records), has been part of Coca Cola's ShareACoke and Taste The Feeling 2016 worldwide campaigns.
