Learn, Network, Startup!

Ignite your inner innovator with the sharpest minds in Orlando!

Startup Weekend
is a 54-hour weekend event, during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more pitch ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, and presentation by Sunday evening.

This time, we'll be hosting our event in Downtown Orlando's Catalyst Spaces, a co-working space in the heart of downtown. You'll have access to a ton of potential customers on the streets as well as all the resources you will need within the venue to be ready to pitch to our esteemed panel of judges on Sunday night.

This weekend is particularly special, as it's Global Startup Weekend! (GSW)
Global Startup Weekend brings together more than 15,000 entrepreneurs for over 200 events! Attendees and winners will have access to exclusive resources from the global community to help you launch your startups!

Be on the lookout for more Judges, Mentors, and Schedule details coming soon!

Navjot Brar
Product Manager | Startup Community Leader

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. I am a startup/tech enthusiast currently helping the product team at Carpe Data provide next generation predictive scoring and data products to P & C and life insurance companies via product management, project management, data analysis, quality assurance, and more.

I have previously worked in insurance services, AI-powered marketing SAAS, speakers, and MEMS industries fulfilling a wide variety of roles such as product, sales, hardware quality, and software engineering. Plus I'm a proud UC Santa Barbara alum!

In my free time, I like to both support the local startup community of Santa Barbara by curating the Santa Barbara Startup Digest, organizing the local Lean Startup Circle Meetup, and organizing/facilitating Startup Weekends globally. If you are interested in getting more involved in the local tech/startup community, check out our local community Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/SantaBarbaraTech

Globally I work with organizations like Techstars, Lean Startup Co, SXSW, and more to bring more startup programs to Santa Barbara.

I am currently thriving to become a great product manager with dreams of one day running my own startup accelerator program.

Please reach out to me at nsbrar3@gmail.com if you think I can help you out with anything!
