Arrive at the venue and get checked in

Eat food, share ideas, practice pitches, get to know fellow participants

Welcome & Speakers
Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders

Pitches Start
Optionally line up to give your pitch


9:00 pm
Voting
Attendees vote for the top pitches


9:15 pm
Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas


10:00 pm
Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Mike has 30+ years of experience in finance, including small business lending. He also has a long record of non-profit management, entrepreneurship, and small business development.


Scott Settelmyer
Managing Director

Scott works with TerraCarbon’s clients on financial planning and analysis, structuring and securing funding, and marketing and sales of carbon offsets.  Prior to founding TerraCarbon, Scott was CFO of the Chicago Climate Exchange, Treasurer for ALLTEL Corporation (a Fortune 250 company), and Manager at Arthur Andersen in Chicago and London. He has a MS in financial markets and trading from the Stuart School of Business in Chicago, and a BA in finance from the University of Illinois. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.


Eden Blair
Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship

Eden S. Blair has been at Bradley University since 2007.  She is currently an assistant professor of entrepreneurship.  Her work experience includes completing two years of National Service through the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps and confounding and working with various non-profit ventures.  As a member of the board of advisors for the Springboard New Venture Competition, Eden advises students from across campus on business formation and ideation. She sits on numerous advising boards for social ventures and governmental agencies.
