Startup Weekend is an intense, weekend-long event focused on building a web or mobile application that could form the basis for a viable business. Previous startup experience is not required.

The non-profit event brings together people with different skill sets to work on interdisciplinary teams of developers, designers and business people. Together, these teams move from concept to market research to prototyping to a full demo and pitch in just 54 hours. 

Prizes are donated by local businesses that care about fostering innovation, creativity and startup community in Rochester.

Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders

Pitches Start
Optionally line up to give your pitch

Voting
Attendees vote for the top pitches

Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas


10:00 pm
Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow
