Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Avi Golan
VP, Intuit’s Partner Platform

Avi Golan is Vice President and General Manager of Intuit’s Partner Platform business unit. In this role he leads the platform strategy to grow the QuickBooks ecosystem, enabling small businesses to seamlessly connect more solutions to solve their unique business needs. This platform serves approximately 5 million small businesses as well as a diverse set of partners and developers.

Rebecca Lovell
Director, Create33

With more than 20 years of management and operating experience, and over a decade running and supporting startups, Rebecca currently serves as Director at Create33, a founder center conceived by Madrona Venture Group. She was previously Director of the City of Seattle's Office of Economic Development, having progressed through leadership roles in the office, including serving as the City's first Startup Advocate. Prior to joining the City, she was GeekWire's first Chief Business Officer, Executive Director of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, and Program Director of the Alliance of Angels.  Having received her MBA from the UW Foster school of business in 2006, she has served on their Employer Advisory Board since 2008, and is currently an instructor in entrepreneurship for their Technology Management MBA Program.  She has been a committed Techstars mentor since their Seattle launch in 2010, is the Board Chair for the national Center of American Entrepreneurship, and was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the top 100 women in tech and as "Do Gooder of the Year." 


Margaret Dawson
Vice President of Product Marketing & Cloud Evangelist, HP Cloud

For more than 20 years, Margaret has held global leadership roles with start-ups and Fortune 500 technology companies, including Microsoft and Amazon.com. As Vice President of Product Marketing & Cloud Evangelist for HP Cloud, she is part of the executive team driving HP’s cloud strategy.  Margaret is a frequent author and sought-after speaker on subjects such as cloud computing, Big Data, network security, and the convergence of technology and business, and is ranked one of the Top Ten Women in Cloud Computing (2013). Margaret is an advisor to Cloud Connect and the Cloud Network of Women (CloudNOW) as well as multiple early-stage companies and CEOs. Based in Seattle, Washington, Margaret has worked and traveled extensively in Asia, Europe and North America, including four years as a foreign correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine in Greater China.
