Get An Edge - Connect with the Experts Before Startup Weekend

The Kirkland Makers Edition Startup team want to ensure that you have what you need to be successful during the Kirkland Startup Weekend.  The Pre-Event Boot Camp will take place at Lake Washington Institute of Technology on November 8, one week prior to the Kirkland Startup Weekend Makers Edition. Boot Camp will provide training on a variety of tools and resources that will help you bring you and your team’s ideas to life.

During the course of the day you will be able to attend workshops on electrical, soldering, welding and metals shops, along with building kits for integrating robotics and wireless applications into your team's product.  It will also allow you to brainstorm your ideas with others, and hear from inventors and engineers from Bluetooth, Nytec, and Google. We will also use the boot camp to create a shopping list of needed materials and acquire Makerbot and Intel kits.  This is a MUST for all entrants as you get a great overview of the tools you will have available for the following weekend and can start to plan your projects.

If you plan to attend REGISTER HERE or email the Kirkland Startup Crew. You can also call (425) 822-7066 and ask about Kirkland GSB Bootcamp.

If you have already booked your classes, arrive at least 15 minutes before your first class to confirm your arrival and pick up an ID badge.
