Andy Dreyfuss
Venn Capital

Andrew Dreyfuss has been a partner with Venn Capital since 2009 and co-manages three real estate funds focused on residential development & the hospitality industry. Venn Capital has participated in real estate transactions valued at over $50M in the last 5 years. After a four year run, he recently stepped aside as the Fund Executive for the Piedmont Angel Network (“PAN”) an early stage committed capital fund based in the Triad. PAN has invested $16M in 24 start-up companies since 2002 via three funds with approximately 150 investors.Andy was the Director of the Career Management for the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University from 2003 to 2008. Prior to joining the Babcock School, Mr. Dreyfuss was Director of Operations Planning for the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Coca Cola, he led the annual business plan process for a group with a $90 million budget and 1,200 employees. Additionally, he has held finance and planning positions with Apple and SAP America. He graduated Magna cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and received a Master in Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University.

Peter Seone

Dr. Seoane has over 30 years of experience in the biomedical space, ranging from bench science to program leadership. His experience in academia and industry spans a broad range of categories including therapeutics for oncology, pain, inflammatory disorders and cardiovascular disease; injectable diagnostic imaging products and orthopedic medical devices. Dr. Seoane’s efforts have resulted in the filing of several IND’s and the registration of Teslascan® in the United States. After 12 years in large pharma, he co- founded Eagle Vision Pharmaceutical Corp. and served as its Vice President of Research and Development. During his time with Eagle Vision, Dr. Seoane had primary responsibility for all scientific matters, played a pivotal role in Business Development and Regulatory Affairs, and served as an independent consultant to the pharmaceutical industry. Following a 4-year tenure as the Industrial Liaison Officer for the NSF Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials headquartered at North Carolina A&T State University, Dr. Seoane founded One-Bucket Solutions LLC; a company dedicated to helping academic and small business clients bring focus to their efforts by defining a single valuable goal and designing a development program to reach it. Community service includes four years as President of the all-volunteer entrepreneurial support group, VentuRealization. Throughout his career, Pete has focused on problem solving at the interface between business and science, delivering commercially valuable solutions that address well-defined customer needs. This has been accomplished through leading, mentoring and motivating multidisciplinary teams to maximal performance by promoting the unique, indispensable contributions of individual team members to overall team success.

Justin Streuli

Justin Streuli currently serves as Director of the North Carolina Entrepreneurship Center at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He joins the NCEC after serving the UNCG community as Spartan Startup Living Learning Community Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Lecturer, General Manager of the Spartan Trader, Coleman Fellow, ECDP Academic Advisory Board Member, and Adviser for the UNCG Chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.

Outside of UNCG, Justin served as Director of Business Development for Anomaly Squared, after the fast-growing marketing agency absorbed the web development firm he co-founded, OpenLedge. He is currently a partner in Dynamic Mail Management, a web-based mailroom management software firm commercializing an award winning technology developed at UNCG.

Bryan Toney
Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Engagement at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Bryan Toney is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Engagement at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he also previously served as Director of the North Carolina Entrepreneurship Center. Prior to coming to Greensboro in 2011, he served as Founding Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Appalachian State and the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Georgia Tech. He began his career as founder and CEO of Information Management Inc., a high growth technology firm in Atlanta. He has extensive experience in entrepreneurial ecosystem development, working with local, regional and global partners to develop high value opportunities for students, faculty, businesses and community members.
