Jeri Muoio
Mayor of the City of West Palm Beach

During her administration, Mayor Muoio has presided over an economic resurgence in West Palm Beach. Her focus on strengthening the economy has led to the creation of thousands of new jobs in the City. Her vision of a more efficient government with streamlined processes for economic development has made West Palm Beach an attractive city in which to do business. 

Ryan Gay
CEO of Levatas

Playing a key role at Levatas since 2006, first as managing partner and now as President, Ryan has ushered the company from its humble beginnings to where it is today, a team of 100 partnering with multinational organizations. Ryan is proud to head up the leadership team and honored to worth with such a unique mix of passionate, creative talent.

Alexander Golding
Founder, HelpedHope

Alexander Golding is an advocate for using business and investing as a source for good. His first Social Impact Program was for his Eagle Scout Project, when he organized a group of high school students to teach elderly stroke victims how to use the computer and Internet to stay in touch with society and their loved ones. 

He currently teaches Social Entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University's graduate school of business and educates investors, government stakeholders, and executives on the topic. He has held educational events at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Keiser University, Florida Atlantic University, and the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. As the Founding Executive Director of the Florida Impact Investing Initiative, he has connected over $3 billion in Florida managed assets over the topic of impact investing.

Jimmy is the founder and CEO of Hope Water. Hope Water is a for-profit Social Enterprise devoted to providing the highest quality natural spring water, bottled for its customers while also creating a unique way of supplying life giving water to those in need with every purchase.

Clay is an entrepreneur, engineer and technologist. He is the CEO and co-founder of Achieve, a research, design and technology services company that helps organizations inspire action and change the world.

Brodi Jackson is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Caerus Ventures. Ms. Jackson has more than 17 years of private equity and alternative asset management experience. Rhys L. Williams is Chairman, Co-founder and Immediate Past President of New World Angels, Inc., a member-managed, structured angel investor group with chapters in Southeast Florida and Tampa Bay, now in its thirtheenth year. He is also the Managing Director of FAU Tech Runway (Florida Atlantic University’s incubator/accelerator/innovation hub).

Leslie Turner
Dean of the Rinker School of Business, Palm Beach Atlantic University

Dr. Turner came to PBA in August 2008, became interim dean of the Rinker School of Business in June 2010, and was appointed dean in August 2013. Prior to coming to PBA, Dr. Turner was professor and chair of the department of accountancy at Northern Kentucky University for four years, and he taught at NKU for 16 years before becoming chair. He also has taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Turner has published 18 peer reviewed articles in accounting journals such as Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting Case Studies, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Management Accounting Research, and Strategic Finance.  Two of his articles were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Institute of Management Accountants. In addition, he has made several presentations at national and state accounting conferences.  Dr. Turner is the coauthor of an accounting information systems textbook published by John Wiley and Sons. He is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Financial Manager, and is a member of the American Accounting Association, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He and his wife Theresa are active members of West Pines Baptist Church in Greenacres.

Matthew Kissner

Matthew serves as outside general counsel to startups and emerging companies, advising founders regarding the formation, organization and governance of business entities; early-stage financings; growth through strategic acquisitions and alliances; employment, consulting and non-disclosure arrangements; and day-to-day operational issues. Matthew represents publicly traded companies regarding their reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and corporate governance requirements, and regularly prepares proxy statements, periodic reports and other disclosure documents.

Audrey Hammonds is working as a consultant for Innovative Architects in Atlanta. (With my fellow Datachix!) Fourteen years ago, she volunteered for DBA training to escape COBOL, and never looked back. A firm believer that good fundamentals and solid design can save a database professional’s sanity, she has devoted much of her career to designing (hopefully) elegant databases and straightening up others’ not-so-elegant databases. Audrey has run the gamut from Database Developer to Production DBA to Architect.

Shana Ostrovitz

Shana grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico coasting through school but never finding what truly inspired her. That all changed when she became involved in one of DECA Inc.’s high school programs, where she discovered her passion for marketing. Shana went on to major in marketing at Northeastern University where she first met Patrick Stinus, explaining to the doubtful business major that marketing is everything. She spent her career doing product marketing at GE and Proctor & Gamble as well as for Stanley, CAT and Black & Decker. Quickly Shana realized that her passion for helping others needed to be an essential part of her professional goals. She went on to work for the American Diabetes Association in Southern California, but creatively, something was still missing. When discussing the idea to start a company enabling independent service providers, Shana knew this was her opportunity to marry her two passions. Now the co-founder and VP of Marketing for Rooster, Shana’s is a lifeline to providers and the voice of Rooster’s mission.

Joe Hammond

Joseph Hammond is the owner of Red Pepper Group. He has produced and directed documentaries as well as various high quality national and local TV commercials, Web program series, lifestyle programs and promo videos. Joseph’s experiences have taken him around the world.
